In nine days, the exciting Asado journey to Argentina begins for Raid, the CEO and founder of Asamodo. On November 6th, his flight departs from Frankfurt am Main, flying 11 hours to Buenos Aires. There, he will spend seven exciting days with a small group, including the Asado professionals Oliver Sievers and Eliseo Monti from Fuegos del Norte.
Your mission is to delve even deeper into the culinary arts, the Asado, and the entire Argentine culture. For this purpose, they have selected six main stations, but many more will probably be added spontaneously:
- Posteo in PIAF & Restaurant visit KANKA
First, the boys will visit the PIAF butcher shop in Posteo. There, they will learn about the special cuts of meat, taste the regional wines, and of course, find out everything about the topic of meat. They will be taught a lot about the origin, processing, and the different breeds.
- Visit Grill Manufacturer (Fuegos JL)
The next stop is the grill manufacturer "Fuegos JL." They produce Asado grills of high quality. There, the guys learn something about the construction, materials, and quality. Special attention is given to the "Fogoneros," which at first glance look like a large fire bowl but are actually true all-rounders.
- Asado de Campo with Vilmar Paiva (from Asado Campero)
On the third day, our professionals learn from the Asado master Vilmar Paiva. He shows them the art of Asado and what really matters in this type of grilling. Thus, they learn tips and tricks to improve their Asado skills.
- Visit to the cattle market in Canuelas
The next day, they go on a trip to a cattle market. There, the different breeds, husbandry methods, and feed are discussed to then show how this affects the meat quality, color, and texture.
- Restaurant Bodegon Antigourmet
On the penultimate day of the trip, the guys go to one of the most famous street food restaurants in Latin America. There, they can try a variety of different wines and specialties. This gives them a complete insight into the culinary scene and also allows them to get inspired to bring this special cuisine back to Germany.
- La Aguada regional
On their last day, they are also enchanted by the Argentine traditional food. However, in this restaurant, they are introduced to typical dishes from northern Argentina.
We are really looking forward to the amazing recordings that they will share with us. To all the new insights they will bring from Argentina and the Asado culture, and of course to the new, delicious recipes that will come out of this journey.
We wish the boys lots of fun and a great stay in Argentina!
