Time required:
about 2h
Preparation of the rolls:
-
Dissolve yeast in warm milk & add sugar - then let it rest for 15 minutes
-
Mix warm water, an egg, flour, salt, and butter - knead for 10 minutes - let rise covered for 1 hour
-
Shape the rolls and let them rise for another 30 minutes
-
Beat the second egg with 1 tablespoon of water
-
Brush the rolls with the mixture & sprinkle with sesame as needed
-
Bake for 15-20 minutes at 180 degrees until the rolls are golden brown
Preparation of the patties:
- Cut meat into cubes & grind with the 5mm disc
- Form into patties of 200g each
- Preheat the grill well and sear the patties on each side for about 2 minutes
- Let rest under the grill lid at medium heat

- Place Bergkäse on the patties and let it melt under the grill lid
- Refine the burger as desired with sauces, salad, pickles, and onions and/or Bacon Jam
- Enjoy!
For the typical Argentine burger, you can use chimichurri sauce and add jalapeños for an extra spicy kick.
