One of the most popular dishes of the Swabians is Maultaschen. We have a recipe for you for delicious "Maultaschen á la Brasa" in bacon wrap. It's that simple:
Ingredients (For 2 servings):

4-6 large Swabian Maultaschen

8-12 strips of bacon (2 per Maultasche), preferably low in salt

some butter
- Rosemary (or other fresh herbs) in a bunch
To best sear the Maultaschen á la Brasa from all sides, large skewers are suitable to then skewer them. Additionally, you need a pan to melt the butter and then brush the Maultaschen.
Time required:
approx. 8-12 min (depending on how crispy you want the Maultaschen and the bacon)
Preparation:
- Wrap the Maultaschen with the bacon
- Then skewer these onto the sticks
- Then hang over the grill
- Grill the Maultaschen evenly on both sides
- Let the butter melt in the wok pan
- Brush the Maultaschen with butter after about 1 minute on the grill
These delicious bacon Maultaschen can also be perfectly paired with the chimichurri sauce. A culinary delight of Swabian-Argentinian fusion cuisine. Additionally, a fresh salad with vegetables is recommended.
